D.W.Wilson, a highly skilled craftsman, brings over forty-one years of extensive experience and prolific design creativity to each individual piece of work produced for his private clients.
DW Wilson Studio - Metalsmith's exclusive work includes design and fabrication of fine jewelry, studio jewelry, vessels, large metal-wood sculptures, furniture, architectural installations, and other unique pieces of metal-art.
In 1980, D.W. earned his B.S. from Illinois State University studying jewelry and metalsmithing with Ed Neimi and Richard Mawdsley.
D.W. actively attended workshops with metalsmithing pioneers Heikki Seppa, Albert Paley, Eugene and Hiroko-Sato Pijanowski, and Edward DeLarge. D.W. was also a goldsmith and designer for the esteemed French jeweler Fred Joallier, and worked in an artisan partnership serving Tiffany, Cartier, David Webb, and the Italian firm, Vaid; as well as many years building bronze sculptures and monuments for the top artists in the Southwest.
D.W.Wilson's work adorned a First-Lady for an Inaugural Ball, has flown on a NASA space-shuttle mission, graces the walls of his clients' homes and businesses worldwide, and is considered a prized possession of the most discerning taste.
